Veganism without borders, anti-capitalist feminism, punk as a banner
La Oveja Negra Vegana was founded in 2012 with the intention of bringing veganism closer to everyone in the form of a tavern.
In those years, vegan food was considered a luxury alternative rather than an ethical good.
Therefore, our intention was to move away from this elitist idea of a concept that has more to do with food being closely linked to our punk, queer and feminist revolution.
From the beginning, we wanted to create a safe space for dissident identities. A tavern in which to be safe, where the well-being of people will prevail.
The idea was to create an open place that everyone could access. The welfare of the people was always taken into account.
The years have gone by and we are proud to see that we are a restaurant full of personality, with the same values we started with, where we constantly strive to give our best.
